About Rome Black & White
Rome Black & White exists because I love to photograph and happen to live near Rome, the Eternal City, where a surprise awaits around every street corner. I have been observing Rome and its visitors and inhabitants for almost ten years and am delighted to make these photographs available for sale! Sizes, Markings, Prices
The exact size of the printed image varies and the print sizes below refers to the approximate paper size. Each unique print has the title, date, my signature, and if part of a limited edition, the edition number written in pencil on the back (or front margin, if requested). Prints are not framed or matted. I recommend you choose the mat and frame in person at a local frame shop in order to best fit the location you plan to display the print and your own individual preference. Copyright marks are not present on prints.

Shipping, Delivery Time
All prints are shipped flat and sturdily packed. Shipping of the prints to anywhere in the world is free. Please allow up to two weeks for delivery as a general rule. If you are in a rush or need the print delivered sooner for any reason, please let me know and I’ll do my best.
Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason you can send the print back to me in original packaging and condition within 30 days of my shipment to you and I will refund you your money (including the shipping cost). I am confident that you will come back for more prints once you see a Rome Black & White print in person!
Ordering, Payment
To purchase your Rome Black & White print click on your desired print size and then on the Purchase button on each print’s page. You will be taken to Paypal’s secure interface where you can fill in your shipping address and credit card details. Once you do so I will be notified and will send your print to you as soon as possible, usually within three business days.
Note that you do NOT need to have a Paypal account in order to pay with your credit card through Paypal. Just click on the ‘continue’ link under ‘Don’t have a Paypal account?’ in the initial Paypal page.
Gifts
If you would like me to send the print directly to somebody else as a gift please let me know before ordering. I can include a short note to send along with the print in the package. After we’re clear that the print is a gift, you can purchase as normal and put in the gift recipient’s address in the Paypal checkout process.
Print Qualities
Rome Black & White prints have a great range of tonalities from deep black to bright white with distinct greys in between. Cotton fiber-based matte papers of museum archival quality are always used. The prints use pure carbon black pigment ink only. The combination of carbon pigment ink and acid-free 100% cotton paper gives the prints a very long life without fading, close to or surpassing silver prints (100–200 years). Prints are not framed or matted and there is generous white space around each print.

Most images here at Rome Black & White are available for limited licensing for use in a variety of media. If you are interested in licensing a photograph, please contact me.
